The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Action Collaborative will be a public–private partnership bringing together approximately 40 leaders from health care delivery systems, private sector health care products companies, and federal government and environmental health experts to codevelop a shared agenda to reduce the environmental impacts of the health sector and to strengthen its sustainability and resiliency. NAM will convene four working groups that reflect the key areas of opportunity for change: health care supply chain and infrastructure; health care delivery; health professional education and communication; and policy financing and metrics.
