The Colorado Business Group on Health will host a conference that brings together employers and state policymakers to focus the efforts of various states to transform health care delivery in order to encourage and inform Colorado and other states’ reform efforts. Speakers from at least five different states (Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Montana, and North Carolina), as well as national experts, will focus on value-based benefit design and value-based purchasing reforms occurring at the state level, why they are or are not working, and how other states can attempt similar reforms. The conference will promote the Fund’s Scorecard on State Health System Performance as a common scorecard that states can use to measure and manage progress. An “Action Brief” summarizing the learnings from the conference will be a resource for other employers and state policymakers not in attendance.
