The research team will conduct a literature review and key informant interviews to: 1) provide an overview of selected use cases of technology that could be used to integrate behavioral health services into primary care; 2) describe the drivers, barriers, limitations, and risks of their applications; and 3) identify policy priorities and practice-level solutions. The team also will assess the potential impact of technologies on racial health disparities and make recommendations that could promote equity in their use and outcomes. The focus will be on primary care settings that treat mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression, but the team also may consider specialty settings for people with serious mental illnesses.
