The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will establish a standing committee of diverse experts in primary care delivery, research, and policy to help inform the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) Initiative for Strengthening Primary Health Care. The committee will comprise approximately 15 members and represent a broad range of research and policy experts in primary care, who could help inform the initiative during publicly held meetings. The committee will meet two to four times per year (including at least once in-person meeting each year) and will invite speakers, discussants, and the public to participate in the meetings.
