This grant will provide supplemental funding to the the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs to adapt the deliverables in the original grant to be applicable and useful in the COVID-19 health care payment and delivery landscape. Making the case for vulnerable populations through the lens of COVID and the value and impact of cross-sector collaboration to address complex issues has high relevance during the pandemic. The project team will capture these learnings and preserve the value of the work completed to date by making the following adaptions to the original deliverables: integrate the impact of COVID and the value of complex care into the ROI publication; change the date of the Payment Accelerator Toolkit to ensure the materials are relevant in the context of permanent shifts in policy and the business case related to the pandemic; reinterview key informants to capture perspectives on business case in light of COVID-19; and create four new publications with themes relevant to COVID-19.
