Kate Meyer is the director of health policy at Waxman Strategies. Kate is an expert in analyzing complex health care policies and translating them into digestible content that strengthens advocacy efforts and bolsters education campaigns. Kate has spearheaded public affairs campaigns and advised industry leaders on policy issues that impact health equity, such as prescription drug coverage and reproductive health care access. She has worked for organizations including the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the EMAA Project, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Brookings Institution. Most recently, Kate served as Interim Executive Director for Girls Gotta Run Foundation. Kate has a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College.
