Bob Atlas

Bob Atlas, M.B.A., is an independent consultant in health care policy and strategy, with a longstanding focus on value-based care. A large share of his work over more than four decades has concerned government regulation of health care financing and delivery, as well as risk-based payment. Atlas began his career in federal service, then held senior positions in several prominent health care consultancies. From 2018 to 2023, he served as CEO of the Maryland Hospital Association. Atlas earned an M.B.A. in health administration from the University of Chicago.
