Social Share: Scheduling Tweets

<p>In the spirit of this week's question, we're going to get straight to the point and into the mailbag. Keep the questions coming. Despite a hostile encounter with our mailman over the volume of incoming correspondence, I defiantly continue to call for more reader questions. </p>

<p>Thanks for reading and for writing. This is one of my favorite questions because it affords me the opportunity to dispel the myth that tweeting requires a large time investment. If you're willing to give just thirty minutes a week to Twitter, than I'm willing to share my favorite scheduling tool with you. Click the blue button at the bottom of this email for an introduction to Buffer, the best free tool I know of. Read through that intro to learn how to schedule Tweets to post at a future date. Next time you find something to tweet, write two tweets for it, one could be a highlight and the other, the title. This is a seriously easy way to double your output with a minimal time investment. Spend 30 minutes a week writing two tweets each for a handful of articles and you'll have a dozen tweets in the hopper before you know it.</p>
