Seeking Program Officer, Vulnerable Populations Portfolio (NYC)

I am reaching out to ask for your help in identifying strong candidates for program officer for the Commonwealth Fund’s vulnerable populations grant portfolio. This New York City-based position will report to me and will have responsibility for managing current grants, developing new grants, refining the portfolio's strategy, and ensuring the continued success of the Fund's minority health leadership and policy fellowships.
We are seeking candidates with an advanced degree (e.g., M.D. or Ph.D.) or strong health care delivery, government, or other relevant experience, backed up with appropriate degrees (e.g., M.P.H., M.B.A., R.N.). Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ health care services research or delivery experience, with at least five years in a senior role. Experience must include extensive knowledge of Medicaid and primary care. The job description is available on our website.
