New Tool Aims to Improve Process for Patient Medical Record Request and Storage

A new Commonwealth Fund-supported tool aimed at redesigning the way patients request medical records is being released today at the Biden Cancer Summit, hosted by former vice president Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden.
The Health Records Wizard, created by X4 Health, requests patient records electronically and promotes digital formats to help people easily and safely compile their health data. The tool is built upon a model originally created by the American Health Information Management Association.
