<p>This Thursday, February 5th, The Commonwealth Fund and the National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) will sponsor the Web seminar, <a href="http://www.nashp.org/_catdisp_page.cfm?LID=D0734A01-9A42-4F7A-B702543C1… Care Coordination and Case Management Strategies to Promote Healthy Child Development."</a> The event, a product of the Fund and NASHP's Assuring Better Child Health and Development (ABCD) initiative, will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., EDT.<br><br>Many states are involved in efforts to improve healthy child development for low-income children and their families. But referral and care coordination remain a significant challenge. Medicaid and public health agencies have key roles in developing more effective referral pathways between pediatric practices and community intervention agencies. This web conference will examine state strategies in care coordination and referral that promote children's healthy development.<br><br><strong>Jill Rosenthal,</strong> program director for NASHP, and <strong>Edward L. Schor,</strong> vice president of The Commonwealth Fund, will give introductions.
