Join the Building Bridges Long-Term Care Policy Seminar

<p>Join The Commonwealth Fund and AcademyHealth on Wednesday, February 6, in Washington, D.C. for the third "Building Bridges: Making a Difference in Long-Term Care Policy Seminar." This event will bring together experts to discuss critical policy issues related to conflicting incentives in the Medicare and Medicaid systems that impact long-term care.<br><br>A presentation by David C. Grabowski, Ph.D., of Harvard Medical School will be followed by a panel discussion with: Kathleen Gifford, J.D., Health Management Associates; Mark Miller, Ph.D., Medicare Payment Advisory Commission; and Steven Tingus, M.S., Office of Disability, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy, HHS/ASPE.<br><br>The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Online registration closes Monday, January 28. The selected paper will form the basis for one of the substantive sessions at the 2008 Colloquium. The author(s) will be awarded $7,500 (plus travel reimbursement) for the paper's preparation and presentation at the colloquium on June 7, 2008 in Washington, DC.
