Uninsured rates for low-income people are falling in states that have expanded Medicaid eligibility under the Affordable Care Act.<br /><br />
In a new video, Sinsi Hernández-Cancio of Families USA and Sara Collins and Michelle Doty of The Commonwealth Fund discuss the benefits of expanding Medicaid coverage, especially for groups like Latinos who are at high risk of lacking coverage. They also look at what happens to the people who remain uninsured—and the millions of dollars left on the table—in states that have chosen not to expand.<br />
