The United States of Care (USoC) Campaign is requesting support for the following projects, starting points varying on state capacity: Project 1, COVID-19 response: Immediate support for state/federal gov’t and public response needs to the pandemic. Project 2, mental health parity in Georgia: Raise awareness among policymakers and the public about what mental health parity is; the lack of mental health parity in Georgia; and what can be done to improve mental health access and coverage. Project 3, Affordability Standard Cross-State Learning Collaborative: Support state efforts to develop affordability standards that seek to define what makes health insurance coverage affordable and bring policies in line with those definitions. Project 4, cost-containment council in Pennsylvania: Launch a cost containment council policy in partnership with Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and the Department of Human Services.
