Under the fiscal management of Grantmakers in Health, with project leadership by Melanie Nathanson, and in consultation with Chris Jennings and Judy Feder, F-SIP will continue to convene strategic conversations between federal officials, researchers, policy stakeholders, and funders. F-SIP plans to convene at least six large group meetings, as well as multiple smaller group meetings and expects topics to include supporting open enrollment Year 3, preparing for the transition to a new administration, advancing insurance literacy, addressing underlying shortcomings of the ACA, and addressing delivery system reform. These topics are subject to change as circumstances require. F-SIP group meetings convene federal officials, researchers, advocates and funders with an interest or a role in the specific policy topics being addressed in each meeting. Experience has demonstrated that these meetings can facilitate policy choices that strengthen the effectiveness of ACA implementation.
