This project will produce a set of strategic communications and tools that practitioners and program developers can use to secure leadership support for and investment in complex care. Building on internal experience and expertise in implementing effective complex care programs within mixed reimbursement environments, the project team will conduct interviews with clinicians and complex care program developers who have successfully formulated business rationales for care interventions. The insights and lessons gained from interviews will be used to ultimately produce a toolkit that includes materials and resources to influence business-oriented decision-making by health system/accountable care organization stakeholders.
