For this project, The Pulse will build on its previous work on health disparities and continue to produce stories exploring issues of race, racism, and health disparities. The stories will focus not only on describing the challenges health disparities and systemic racism present but also on innovative solutions to address them. This grant also will support collaborative partnerships with at least four or five diverse content creators around the country and continue to support Commonwealth Fund Health Equity Reporting Fellow, Sojourner Ahebee, who was recruited during the first grant.
