This project will aim to further identify international comparison gaps to draw important policy insights for the U.S., while also identifying new methodologies and data sources to further the impact of the Fund’s comparative analyses. Potential topics to explore include avoidable mortality measures (exemplified in Mirror, Mirror 2021), pricing policies, disparities in care, varied patient pathways, and system utilization. In addition, findings from this project will seek to identify and compare care models that may by suitable for further analysis, adoption and implementation for the U.S. context.
