In Phase 4, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) will oversee the Playbook while developing a plan that to transition day‐to‐day responsibilities to a future administrator, most likely the Center for Health Care Strategies, a current partner. As part of the transition process, IHI and the new lead organization, guided by the advisory group, will undertake a strategic review of the Playbook and outline a future vision for this resource. IHI will also continue to strengthen the Playbook by adding resources and tools based on identified gaps, improving website functionality and end‐user experience, and working with partners to engage users and disseminate content. IHI will partner and pursue subcontracts with up to three organizations that work closely with Medicare Advantage plans and accountable care organizations (ACOs) — key Playbook audiences — to generate new content.
