Politico will organize and host two “Pro Health Care Report Breakfasts” to produce newsworthy dialogues on the nation’s key health care challenges. Each event will feature a panel discussion, moderated by a senior Politico health care reporter or editor, involving approximately four leading experts who represent a variety of viewpoints. The topics, which will be selected based on input from a variety of sources, including Commonwealth Fund research, might include: the cost of chronic care, dual-eligible beneficiaries, state innovations in Medicaid, physicians’ adaptation to change, home- versus community-based care, and rural health disparities. The events will be promoted through the Politico Pro subscription, digital ads on Politico.com, social media, and print ads, and Politico also will work to draw press coverage from other organizations. Politico will cobrand promotional materials, event content, and media coverage. Politico anticipates that each breakfast will attract at least 75 attendees, in addition to more than 150 livestream viewers.
