The content of conference sessions will focus on evidence-based work being undertaken to tackle ethnic health inequalities across the globe; work that broadly reflects the Observatory’s core work program themes, these being the areas of: maternal and neonatal health, mental health, COVID-19, sickle cell disease, racial bias in medical devices, ethnicity data recording and use in health care, artificial intelligence/digital health care, genomics and precision medicine, and diversifying health care research and education. The conference will span two days and will include a balanced mix of keynote speeches from global experts, patient stories, and panel discussions. Observatory board members and coleads of the Observatory’s global health group, Professor David Williams and Yvonne Coghill, will chair the conference sessions over the two days.
