Vox Media and its marquee health policy reporter, Sarah Kliff, will conduct a comprehensive reporting project that digs into how universal health care might work in the United States, by learning how it works elsewhere in the world. Kliff will travel to six countries to report on their health care systems at the policy and personal levels. Potential countries include Canada, , Australia, and Switzerland. The lessons learned for U.S. health policy will be shared through articles on Vox.com and a special season of Kliff’s influential podcast, The Impact. Ezra Klein and Dylan Scott, two of Vox’s other well-known policy reporters, will be engaged in the project, offering insights about the prospects of universal health care in the U.S.
