The Journalists in Aging Fellows program, a partnership of the Gerontological Society of America (GSA), has been providing training for reporters who are interested in writing about issues around aging for over a decade. The program has awarded fellowships to reporters from a wide range of national and local outlets. Participants receive several days of training and a stipend, and commit to publishing at least two products. This year’s selection of fellows will emphasize preference for proposals related to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as racial/ethnic inequality.
