Helping Medicaid Directors Build More Effective and Equitable Programs

The team at the National Association of Medicaid Directors seeks to strengthen state–federal partnerships, advance shared priorities among Medicaid directors with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and cultivate effective leaders in state and territorial programs. It will advance these goals across four areas: 1) promoting health equity in Medicaid; 2) strengthening and transforming long-term services and supports; 3) navigating the ongoing pandemic response; and 4) responding to growing behavioral health needs. Medicaid directors and their teams will be offered peer-to-peer learning in affinity groups; on-demand technical assistance; state–federal workshops; and an array of resources, from educational briefings to fact sheets.
