This project will support the authorization of small grants to Harkness Senior Fellows for work that supports at least one of the Fund’s four Goals for a High Performing Health System and/or one of the six Policy Imperatives to Improve Quality, Advance Equity, and Increase Affordability. The International team will develop and manage the program, awarding a series of grants that range from $5,000 to $15,000 apiece. We aim to launch the program in July 2021 with the circulation of an RFP to all Harkness Fellow alumni. We will prioritize the funding of projects that focus on advancing health equity, maternal health, and mental health, as there are new policy windows for an international perspective on these topics.
