This project will support the recruitment, selection, and tenure in the U.S. of the 2020–21 Harkness Fellows from up to eight countries. Targeting promising midcareer professionals — government policymakers, academic researchers, clinical leaders, hospital and insurance managers, and journalists — the fellowship provides a unique opportunity to spend 12 months working with leading U.S. experts to study health care delivery reforms and critical health policy issues affecting the U.S. and fellows’ home countries. Throughout the year, Fund staff bring the fellows together for a series of high-level policy briefings and site visits.
