This grant will support the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's (CHCI) convenings throughout the calendar year that seek to address health disparities and promote the health of American Latino communities. CHCI will leverage its convening power to facilitate the exchange of ideas, solutions, and information to address Latino health disparities, including the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project provides an opportunity to connect the work of the Fund with Latino policymakers, policymakers with a specific focus in addressing Latino health issues, and the broader community of policy influencers and stakeholders invested in reducing disparities and ensuring equity. The Fund will have the opportunity to provide input on targeted events, support broader convenings of the target audiences, and build connections and expertise related to crafting messages that resonate with Latino communities.
