Hostetter will provide editorial support to Communications and the Health Care Delivery System Reform program. Her activities will encompass: Ongoing work for Communications, including: 1) editing Fund reports, issue briefs, and blog posts; 2) writing journal article summaries; 3) posting materials to the website; and 4) generating email alerts, ideas for infographics, and other promotional pieces. In addition, she will continue to draft issues of the Commonwealth Fund Connection newsletter, author multimedia essays, and provide strategic advice and project management for new web features. Researching, writing, and editing four issues of a new quarterly publication, Transforming Care, that will showcase innovative approaches to delivery system reform. In partnership with editorial consultant Sarah Klein, Hostetter will identify and research newsletter topics and themes, interview experts, and compose the feature articles, case studies, and Q&As that make up each issue. She also will manage the content review process, produce the newsletter, and help promote it. The continuing partnership with Martha Hostetter will help The Commonwealth Fund maintain its high standards for publications and ensure they are posted and disseminated to key audiences in a timely fashion. The newsletter she will help create will inform health system leaders, policymakers, the public, and the Fund about promising care delivery models.
