Jon Gabel’s research team will update its uniquely comprehensive national database of health plan costs in the Affordable Care Act’s insurance marketplaces with information on 2016 premiums, deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, and out-of-pocket limits. As it did in 2014, the team will author a series of blog posts documenting changes in plan premiums and benefit designs as the information becomes available. These timely posts will inform policymakers about trends in marketplace plans and the factors that might be contributing to differences in costs and benefits across states.
