This project would support the Patient-Centered Primary Care Foundation to advance implementation of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) report’s primary care payment reform recommendations by: 1) expanding and strengthening the coalition of stakeholders in support of primary care payment reform; 2) convening a diverse group of stakeholders to review, iterate, build on, and garner buy-in for the NASEM payment reform recommendations; 3) engage in communications and dissemination activities particularly targeting federal policymakers to highlight broad support for primary care payment reform; and 4) developing a two-year plan for ensuring implementation of payment reform in primary care through Medicare and Medicaid.
