Young Invincibles (YI) will build a multipronged effort to ensure access to critical and trusted information about the COVID-19 vaccine for young people. This will include focus groups and facilitated discussions on the pandemic’s impact on young people and their concerns, hopes, and information received about the COVID-19 vaccine. The structure of the project will allow for YI to understand young adults’ underlying attitudes and motivations around vaccine hesitancy and uptake and incorporate these learnings into messages tailored to young adults. YI will leverage their young adult engagement programs to ensure the project is led by the same audience it intends to reach. The project team will look to the African American Research Collaborative (AARC) survey results as a starting point for their qualitative research.
