The research team will identify and distill examples of what international health care systems are doing to improve health equity, focusing on those that could inform U.S. policy and practice. These examples will include policy approaches that seek to promote equity, as well as program innovations to address existing inequities in care delivery and the community level. Examples will be sourced through a scan of the literature including peer-reviewed publications, grey literature, media coverage, government documents, and key organizational websites. In addition, one-on-one interviews with key experts will help source and vet international policies and practices that could be adapted to the U.S. context.
