The Manatt team will partner with Sheamekah Williams, director of Children, Youth, and Family Services at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, to create and disseminate a strategic framework for improving behavioral health outcomes for high-risk children, youth, and young adults enrolled in Medicaid. They will address Medicaid’s role in several areas, such as: providing a continuum of care; identifying the highest-risk groups; establishing measurement approaches; promoting cross-agency partnerships and accountability; and integrating the voice of youth and their families in the policy design and implementation process. To guide the creation of these products, Manatt will establish a youth and family advisory group and an expert advisory committee.
