What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for sharing and distributing Web content. Using an RSS reader or aggregator, you can view data feeds from sites such as The Commonwealth Fund that offer headlines, summaries, and links to the full text. RSS news readers will download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial news readers are available for download. Many readers are "stand-alone" programs; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page. If you click the RSS links below, you can copy the url into your feed reader.
