Patient Experiences with Managed Care: A Survey

This summary provides highlights from a survey of 3,348 adults between the ages of 18 and 64 who had employer-based insurance in Miami, Los Angeles, and Boston. The survey asked about patients' satisfaction with their managed care plans; their choice among types of plans; how often they changed plans; costs and administrative paperwork; access to needed services; and other issues.
