Canada's premiers are teaming up to reform the delivery of health care services in an effort to rein in health care costs and better meet the needs of an aging population. The initiative marks the first time the country's provincial and territorial leaders are collaborating on a pan-Canadian health care strategy.
This spring, provincial and territorial health ministers held a two-day meeting focusing on strategies for improving primary health care and developing and disseminating best clinical practices.
