Patient Satisfaction Data Published on NHS Web Site

The National Health Service Choices Web site, which provides patients with information on GP practices as well as hospitals, will begin scoring practices. Practices will receive a score from zero to 10, based on a variety of measures, including ease of scheduling an appointment, length of time waiting in reception, and the quality of explanations provided by providers. These data will help patients select a primary care practice and help GPs improve their services.
