New Web Features Explain Health Insurance Coverage Options

Two new Web features on commonwealthfund.org explain, in basic terms, how the Affordable Care Act will expand coverage to an estimated 30 million people by 2020:

  • A podcast, featuring The Commonwealth Fund's Sara Collins, Washington and Lee University School of Law's Timothy Jost, and George Washington University School of Public Health's Sara Rosenbaum, describes how the health insurance exchanges will work and whom they will help.
  • An infographic shows how the Affordable Care Act will bring coverage to millions of Americans—by enabling young adults to enroll or stay on their parents' insurance until age 26, by making affordable coverage available through the health insurance exchanges, and by expanding eligibility for Medicaid.
