With the launch of the new "Australian Clinical Trials" Web site, patients will have easier access to information on clinical trials of new drugs, treatments, and medical procedures. According to the Minister for Innovation and Industry Greg Combet, the Web site will lead to higher participation rates in clinical trials and increased investment in new medical innovations. The Australian Clinical Trials Web site is supported by pharmaceutical and medical research stakeholders and funded by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.
