A new blog post from the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) describes how Medicaid agencies in three states—California, New York, and Tennessee—are using funds to help secure stable housing for a particularly vulnerable group of beneficiaries: those dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid who need long-term services and supports to address their functional impairments. The states are participants in CHCS's Implementing New Systems of Integration for Dually Eligible Enrollees project, which is supported by The SCAN Foundation and The Commonwealth Fund.
