Canadian Minister of Health Jane Philpott announced a three-year, $3.5 million investment in a mobile app first launched in 2014 to help Canadians keep accurate immunization records. Researchers from The Ottawa Hospital will lead a project to enhance the digital platform to allow for secure access to information across family members, extend access to desktop users, and include the ability to integrate with provincial immunization records. Support is provided by several public health organizations and initiatives.
