Few quality measures related to outpatient coordination between behavioral health and primary care providers exist, and there are none focused on coordination between care settings and social service providers, according to new Commonwealth Fund–supported research. Writing in Current Psychiatry Reports (April 2016), a team led by Matthew Goldman of the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center identified a set of measures that are relevant to both behavioral and general medical health.
