The New Zealand government will invest $14 million over seven years in a $37.8 million public–private research partnership to promote precision-driven health care. New methods for data mining, integration, and multivariate analysis will be developed, which will be applicable across the health sector. The innovations will be commercialized and exported globally, says Joyce. The partnership so far includes software developer Orion Health, the Waitemata District Health Board, and the University of Auckland.
