House of Representatives v. Burwell, Round 1

In a ruling earlier this month on the much-discussed case United States House of Representatives v. Burwell, U.S. Federal District Court Judge Rosemary M. Collyer stated lawmakers have standing to raise the claim that the Obama administration improperly directed money appropriated for the ACA’s health plan premium subsidies to pay insurers for the cost-sharing assistance they provide to lower-income marketplace enrollees.
