Ushering in a New Era in Medicaid Managed Care

By next year, an estimated 75 percent of all Medicaid beneficiaries will be enrolled in managed care plans. In a blog post, George Washington University’s Sara Rosenbaum says that a new proposed federal regulation formally recognizes managed care’s central role in national Medicaid policy and in the lives of beneficiaries.
