In their latest blog post, Georgetown University Health Policy Institute researcher Kevin Lucia and colleagues remind us that health plans that don't meet the Affordable Care Act’s coverages standards must be discontinued in 2017. They also report that a number of insurers have decided to discontinue these policies earlier as part of routine evaluations of their product lines, but are now informing consumers about their health coverage options.
