COVID-19: Temporary Changes to How We Work

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the Commonwealth Fund has closed its physical offices in both New York and Washington, D.C. We took this step to protect our staff, grantees, fellows, vendors, and other partners, and in support of social distancing guidance issued by federal, state, and local officials. Because we follow New York City’s school closure decisions in determining when to open and close our offices, we don’t expect to reopen before April 20.

During this period, the Commonwealth Fund will continue to operate, but all staff will work remotely. Anyone needing to contact us can still do so via phone and email during regular business hours.

Most, if not all, of our meetings will take place by phone and video while our offices are closed. If you planned on attending a meeting we are hosting, please stay tuned for updated information. Commonwealth Fund staff members will not be travelling domestically or internationally during this period.
