Steven Findlay

Steven Findlay, M.P.H., is an independent health policy analyst, researcher, and journalist. He is a frequent contributor to Kaiser Health News (KHN). His KHN pieces have appeared in the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and USA Today, and at National Public Radio, ABC News, the Daily Beast, and other print and online media outlets. His scholarly research has been published in Health Affairs. In positions at Consumers Union/Consumer Reports, the National Institute for Healthcare Management, and the National Coalition on Health Care, from 2000 to 2014, Findlay specialized in health care policy, health insurance, and prescription drug pricing. From 1979 to 1999, he was a medical and health care journalist, with stints at USA Today, U.S. News & World Report, and Business & Health. Findlay has an M.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
