So O’Neil, S.M., is a mother of two, senior researcher, and director of Mathematica’s domestic health philanthropy portfolio. She is a first-generation Thai immigrant who has lived experience of social inequity. She has dedicated her more than two-decade career to reducing health disparities and promoting health equity for mothers, children, and their families regardless of race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, geography, and other visible and invisible characteristics. In her work, she evaluates, assesses, and improves programs that address maternal and child health, community health, reproductive and population health, and health disparities around the world. O’Neil holds an S.M. in health policy and management from the Harvard School of Public Health.
