Sidney D. Watson

Sidney D. Watson, J.D., is professor of law at Saint Louis University School of Law, where she is a member of the Center for Health Law Studies. Her research focuses on issues of health care access for racial and ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, the poor, and other disenfranchised groups. Watson's recent publications include articles on minority health access and civil rights law, Medicaid, and Medicaid managed care; she also serves on the editorial board of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. A graduate of Harvard Law School, she is past chair of the American Bar Association coordinating committee on AIDS.
